in "Internet Mode" you should jump to the configuration
guide for Outlook Express
Background
In Corporate Mode, each aspect of Outlook is configured
as a "Service". A typical Outlook configuration includes:
- Personal Folders
- Outlook Address Book
- Internet Email Service
If you are already using Outlook with another ISP,
you will already have a Personal Folders and an Outlook Address
Book. If this is the case, please go to the Adding
an Internet Mail Service section.
If this is your first time using Outlook, please
follow the Outlook Setup Wizard Guide.
During the installation you might be prompted to
insert your Outlook/Office installation CD. Please ensure that this
is available before beginning the procedures below.
Adding an Internet E-mail Service
1. Start-up Outlook and click Tools->Services

2. In the Service window click the Add button, select
"Intenet E-mail" and click OK

3. Follow steps 6 to 13
in the Wizard section below
4. Click OK
5. Close the Services window, exist Outlook and re-enter
it to use the new Internet E-mail service
Outlook Setup Wizard Guide
1. When you start-up Outlook for the first time,
the Setup Wizard will appear. If it doesn't click on Tools->Services.
2. In the Setup Wizard window, click on "Use
the following information services"
3. Place a tick in the Internet E-mail box and click
"Next"

4. You might be prompted for a Profile Name. If so,
choose an appropriate name (anything)

5. You might be prompted for you installation CD,
after which the screen below should appear. Click "Setup Mail
Account"

6. Fill in your details
in the details tab

7. Click on the Servers tab
8. In the [Incoming mail
.server] box, type
pop.netservers.co.uk
9. Users subscribed to our Email Virus Filtering
service should enter av1.netservers.co.uk
in the [Outgoing mail(SMTP) server] box. Others should enter mail1.netservers.co.uk.
10. Enter the Login and Password given to you be
Netservers.
11. Tick "Remember password" and ensure
that "Logon using Secure Password Authentication" is un-ticked.
12. Tick the "My server requires authentication"
box

13. To secure the connection to your mailbox with
SSL encryption, click the "Advanced" tab and tick both
"This server requires a secure connection" boxes. The
port number for SMTP is usually 25, although port 465 is also a
valid SSL-SMTP port. Outlook will automatically select port 995
for POP3-SSL (incoming server).

14. Click OK to return to the Setup Wizard window
and click Next
15. You will now be prompted for the name and location
of your Personal Folders (PST) file. It shouldn't be necessary to
change the default setting, so click "Next"
16. You should now see the screen below. Click "Finish",
and test your new email account. It may be necessary to exit Outlook
and re-enter for this account to work.
