London Bandwidth Prices

The rate you pay for your bandwidth is dependent on volume of bandwidth you agree to purchase at the beginning of the month. This commitment from you in turn enables us to anticipate our bandwidth needs and ensure the highest quality of service for all subscribers.

Calculating the cost of a bandwidth upgrade:

1. From the table above select the Rate for the Total Volume of bandwidth you require. (e.g. if your the total volume is 20GB, the rate is £3.25 per GB)
2. As each Dedicated Server comes with free bandwidth, you must establish the amount of Upgrade Bandwidth you'll need. Simply deduct your free bandwidth from your total bandwidth requirement. (Total Bandwidth - Free Bandwidth = Upgrade Bandwidth)
3. Your total Upgrade cost is Rate x Upgrade Bandwidth

Overage Charges:

We do not prevent you from using more bandwidth that you have agreed to buy. Any bandwidth that you use over and above the agreed amount is chagred pro-rata at the rate agreed above.

Example 1

Your dedicated server includes 5GB of free bandwidth and you only use 4GB. There are no additional charges or refunds.

Example 2

Your dedicated server includes 5GB of bandwidth and you have chosen not to purchase additional bandwidth. Your actual usage is 12GB. You will pay the 5GB Rate for the excess (12GB - 5GB = 7GB excess). So you'll pay £6 x 7 = £42.00

Example 3

Your dedicated server includes 5GB of free bandwidth and you have chosen to purchase an extra 5GB. The Total Bandwidth is 10GB and the Rate is £4 per GB. Your Chargeable Bandwidth is 5GB. Your upgrade will cost £4 x 5 = £20. If your actual usage is 16GB. You will be charged for the extra bandwidth at £4 per GB [6GB x £4 = £24]

Monitoring your Bandwidth

The Firewall Control Panel will allow you to monitor your bandwidth usage, as often as you like. It provides graphs showing usage up to the last five minutes. It also shows graphs of the last seven days, month and year. Click HERE to see a screenshot.
